Metro Career Pathways Conference 10/28/2005 1:15 PMTo: Middle and High School Administrators and Staff From: Traci Gauer, Supervisor, School to Future Programs The Metro Career Pathways Conference is a collaborative professional development conference for secondary and post-secondary administrators, counselors and teachers, sponsored by the metro area Tech Prep consortia: Carver-Scott, Dakota County, Minneapolis, NE Metro, Saint Paul, & West Suburban. The goal of this conference is to develop leaders with an understanding for implementing career pathways. Sessions are designed to give participants strategies and best practices in the areas of Non-Traditional Careers, Labor Trends, Enhancements and Implementation, Industry Perspectives, and Legislative Updates. Several SPPS staff are presenting breakout sessions. See the At-A-Glance document, attached below, for information on the sessions. This event will take place on November 16, 2005 at the University of Minnesota Continuing Education & Conference Center located at 1890 Buford Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55108.
